These terms apply when you use Rowtrove, the website that converts tables in PDF files to CSV in your browser. By using the site, you accept them.

Check the results

Tables are extracted automatically and can contain errors: a value in the wrong column, a missing or split row, a misread number. Always check the extracted data against the source document before you use it for financial, tax or legal purposes.

Rowtrove marks the cells it is unsure about, but an unmarked cell can still be wrong. You are responsible for checking the results and for how you use them.

The service

Rowtrove reads your PDF, finds its tables and lets you review, correct and export them as CSV files. All of this happens in your browser: your documents are not uploaded to us. The converter is free and needs no account. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.

We may change, interrupt or stop the service, or parts of it, at any time. Paid features are not on sale yet. When they are, their terms, price and refund policy will be published before you can buy them.

Your files

Only convert files you are allowed to use. Your documents and the data you extract from them remain yours. We receive no rights to them, and we never receive the documents themselves.

Use and liability

Do not use the site to break the law or infringe the rights of others, to disrupt, overload or attack it or get around its security measures, or to access it by automated means in a way that places an unreasonable load on it. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and Rowtrove is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site or of data extracted with it, including losses caused by extraction errors you did not check. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you. We may update these terms: the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top, and applies from then on.
